Super Bowl LVIII, featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, is set to happen at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11.
While it's a significant sporting event, UFC CEO Dana White wants to highlight another major occasion occurring during the same weekend.
Dana White, who also owns the Power Slap fighting promotion, is gearing up for the sixth live event at the newly opened Vegas casino, Durango, on February 9—coincidentally, Super Bowl weekend.
Always one to seize an opportunity for promotion, the MMA head honcho playfully directed sports fans toward Power Slap 6 by sharing an image of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift celebrating after Kansas City's recent win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game.
He posted it on Instagram with the caption: "Now that we're going to Vegas, can we go to Power Slap on 9 Feb @Durangoresort?"
Power Slap 6 marks the grand finale of Power Slap: Road to the Title, Season 2.
The main event features a heated championship clash between the coaches of the season, 'KO Chris' Thomas (5-0, 5 KOs) and Emanuel “No Love” Muniz (4-2, 1 KO), battling it out for the coveted Welterweight title.
Adding to the excitement, the co-main event showcases the return of Sheena 'The Hungarian Hurricane' Bathory (2-0, 2 KOs), who will face off against the fresh face, Jackie 'The Hybrid' Cataline.
Stay tuned for the full Power Slap 6 lineup, set to be revealed on the last episode of Power Slap: Road to the Title, Season 2, airing on Rumble this Wednesday, January 31.
As Las Vegas gears up for the pinnacle of the NFL season, expect to see Kelce, the Chiefs, and possibly Tay Tay making their presence felt during the same exciting weekend.
