Dana White Unveils Official Main Event for 'Epic' UFC 300

It's official – the main event for UFC 300 is set!

Alex Pereira will face off against Jamahal Hill on April 13, as announced by UFC CEO Dana White after UFC 298 on February 18.

The highlight of UFC 300 will be the light heavyweight title bout, with Hill making a comeback after a lengthy break due to tearing his Achilles tendon while playing basketball in 2023.

As of now, UFC 300's lineup contains 12 fights (not in bout order, subject to change):

  • Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill; LHW Title Fight
  • Max Holloway vs. Justin Gaethje; LW BMF Title
  • Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan; SW Title Fight
  • Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic; LHW
  • Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan; LW
  • Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling; FW
  • Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt; BW
  • Bobby Green vs. Jim Miller; LW
  • Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison; BW
  • Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage; MW
  • Jessica Andrade vs. Marina Rodriguez; SW
  • Sodiq Yusuff vs. Diego Lopes; FW

There are currently 12 fights scheduled, and there might be room for one or two more.

Israel Adesanya, the former middleweight champion, is gearing up for a comeback, as mentioned by his coach Eugene Bareman. One possible opponent could be Dricus Du Plessis. Additionally, interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has shared his negotiations for UFC 300 and hinted that he'd like to be part of the event.

It's still uncertain whether the UFC 300 card is finalized or if there will be more additions.
