Jake Paul Boldly Declares he has Bigger Combat Sports Presence Than Conor McGregor

Jake Paul asserts that he is a bigger star than Conor McGregor.

Transitioning from a YouTuber to a professional boxer, Paul is gearing up for his third fight of the year against Andre August on December 15, 2023. Notably, Paul's recent bouts, including the one against Tommy Fury with reportedly over 800,000 PPV sales and the Nate Diaz fight with around 450,000 PPV sales, have been major events.

When Jake Paul was new to boxing, he asked Conor McGregor to fight, but McGregor didn't seem interested in the idea.

And yet, Paul still seems determined to make it happen, as he recently told DAZN Boxing: "McGregor would be pretty freaking massive and entertaining and fun.

"I would beat his a**.

"He won't fight me. At this point it's funny how it went from me calling him out and that seeming crazy to now me being bigger in the sport than he is.

"And him knowing my skill level is greater than his in such a short amount of time. Life's crazy."

It doesn't look like they will fight anytime soon because McGregor seems more focused on MMA right now. McGregor hasn't fought since 2021 due to a leg injury against Dustin Poirier. He's expected to return to the Octagon next year, possibly against Michael Chandler.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul is set to fight on Friday against a relatively unknown 10-1 professional boxer, Andre August. Paul has mentioned that this fight is all about gaining experience on his path to becoming a world champion, a title he already envisions in his mind.

He said on his podcast BS w/ Jake Paul: "I am a world champion.

"I don't need to elaborate the manifestation that's going on in my head.

"I possess the talent, hard work, skill set, all the attributes of a world champion, so I am that already and I'm willing and manifesting the rest into existence to become the world champion."
