Flynn's gone. And it hurts.
RJ Mitte — Walter White Jr. on Breaking Bad — died Monday, October 12 at his residence in Brownsville, Texas. He was 34. His representative confirmed to USA Today that he died by suicide, and asked for privacy for his family.
Mitte lived with cerebral palsy since age 3 and turned it into his mission: he played a character with his own diagnosis, then spent his career making the industry make room. Ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Children's. President of the Mitte Foundation. "Normal is whatever you make it," he once said. "Normal is wherever you find yourself belonging." His final social media post, October 8, was from the premiere of his latest film Talking to Strangers — still pushing, still inspiring. Bryan Cranston's tribute ended with a plea: anyone struggling should call or text 988.
The DAOS take: the strongest fighters are the ones fighting battles nobody sees. If you're in it right now — call or text 988. There is hope.
