Jake Paul is back in the gym — and training like a supervillain.
A viral 40-second clip (via Happy Punch) shows Paul circling a heavy bag with a massive python wrapped around the chain. Someone off-camera says what everyone's thinking: "I've never seen anybody hit a punching bag with a snake on it." Paul picks his shots carefully, jabs around the reptile, keeps his distance. Fans aren't buying it — the replies are flooded with animal-abuse accusations, the internet's favorite verdict on anything Jake Paul does.
Here's the context that matters: Paul hasn't fought since Anthony Joshua knocked him out — and broke his jaw — on Netflix last December. Two surgeries later, he's been medically cleared for a return targeted at early 2027. And he's come back swinging with a 14-fight dream list: Canelo, Ngannou, Tom Aspinall, Deontay Wilder, Ryan Garcia, Gervonta Davis... and UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland — who, as we covered Friday, publicly called Paul out while flirting with leaving the UFC. Meanwhile KSI just retired from boxing and shouted an expletive at Paul three times on the way out. Paul reposted the video with the caption: "And the crowd goes mild."
The DAOS take: call him a clown all you want, nobody generates heat like Paul — and a Strickland crossover is suddenly a very real possibility. The snake thing, though? Weird flex. Even by Jake Paul standards.
