On Thursday, the local sheriff's office announced that three individuals have been arrested in relation to the alleged assault and robbery of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine at a South Florida gym last week.
The suspects, identified as Rafael Medina Jr. (43), Octavious Medina (23), and Anthony Maldonado (25), were taken into police custody and are currently being processed into the Palm Beach County Jail, as stated by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
According to jail records, all three suspects are currently facing preliminary charges of felony battery and robbery in connection with the alleged assault and robbery of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine at a South Florida gym on March 21.

During the incident, Hernandez was reportedly attacked inside a sauna at an LA Fitness without warning, with footage showing him lying on the ground shielding his face as two men kick him. One of the attackers can be heard taunting and pulling Hernandez's hair, while another filmed the assault. Hernandez was later hospitalized with injuries to his face, jaw, ribs, and back.
The three suspects are scheduled to make their first court appearance on Friday morning, as confirmed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
After serving a two-year sentence for racketeering, drug trafficking, and firearm offenses linked to the Nine Trey Bloods gang, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was released from federal prison in April 2020.
His sentence was reduced after he collaborated with federal officials and revealed the identities of his accomplices. By doing so, he received leniency from charges that could have resulted in a mandatory minimum prison term of 37 years for crimes that included masterminding a shooting that caused an innocent bystander to be injured.
The deal saw Hernandez labelled a “rat” by the likes of rappers Meek Mill and Snoop Dogg, among others.
It is not known whether the plea deal served as motivation for last week’s attack against Hernandez.
