Fifty let it slip on the red carpet.
At the Street Fighter movie premiere, 50 Cent told ExtraTV that Eminem had laid down pieces for the film's soundtrack — then pulled back. Why? Because he's deep into a new album. 50 said Em "got closer to his album and he kinda fell back because he's preparing for presentation of his album." Translation: the next Eminem rollout is officially underway, and nothing else gets the pen right now.
Hip-hop fans might be disappointed about the soundtrack, but this is the bigger story by miles. When Em locks in, everything else waits. And now we know — he's locked in.
The DAOS take: the old lion went quiet, and the quiet ones are always the most dangerous. Shady season is coming.
