Dana White stands firm on his choice to partner with Bud Light despite criticism, asserting that anyone who takes pride in being American should enjoy the UFC's official beer directly from the keg.
In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, the UFC leader responded to concerns about the sponsorship deal. When Carlson suggested a continued boycott of Anheuser-Busch due to its partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, White remained resolute in his decision.
"If you consider yourself a patriot, you should be drinking gallons of Bud Light," White said with authority. "Gallons of Bud Light."
"You should have Bud Light drums stacked in your garage."
White clarified that his firsthand knowledge of the beer industry gives weight to his statement. He emphasized that when he asserts the average drinker is "way more aligned with Bud Light" than any other brand, people should trust his judgment.
This echoes his earlier comments made shortly after announcing the deal. At that time, White shared that he had considered other options before choosing Bud Light over Modelo, citing his preference for Anheuser-Busch's company values.
Carlson also had a conversation with Kid Rock regarding the recent Bud Light controversy. The singer expressed that he's letting go of the boycott, believing that the beer company has received the message.
