Gervonta Davis Makes Bold Demand: Two Ferraris to Ignite Haney Fight Talks in Saudi Arabia

Gervonta Davis has set an unusual condition to start talks about a fight with Devin Haney in Saudi Arabia – he wants two Ferraris personally delivered to his door.

This response comes after Turki Alalshikh suggested staging the fight in Saudi Arabia this year, which involves overcoming some challenges. PBC and Al Haymon need to agree to let Davis fight outside the US, something he hasn't done since 2017. Additionally, a cross-promotional deal might be necessary, considering the fights in Saudi Arabia have been broadcasted globally on DAZN, but PBC's new deal with Amazon Prime Video could complicate things.

There are also issues with purse splits and weight class. Davis sees himself as the A-side, pointing to Haney's lower PPV sales in his last fight. Davis sold over 1.2 million PPVs for the Ryan Garcia fight, earning over $50 million. The weight class is a concern too, as Davis competes at lightweight, but Haney is now at 140. Davis' latest demand, mentioned in a now-deleted tweet, has added complexity to the negotiations.

“They made me mad. If they want something, they got to send something to my door, like two Ferraris or something,” Davis stated

Davis’ demands may be a flippant remark, but the consensus on social media was that Tank wanted to avoid facing Haney at all costs.
