Jorge Masvidal 'pulled up' on Jake Paul in a car park confrontation that head security on edge.
Gamebred, who recently retired from the UFC, has been engaged in a war of words with Paul regarding a potential crossover fight. Their ongoing feud has once again ignited as both fighters refuse to back down.
In a scene captured by his Betr team, the renowned YouTuber-turned-boxer found himself face to face with his former sparring partner, Masvidal, in the bustling car park of a betting firm in Miami on Wednesday.
Swiftly, security personnel and their entourages formed a tight circle around the pair, ensuring that any potential altercation was prevented. Nevertheless, amidst the tight security, they managed to engage in a verbal exchange.
“Why are you trying to cause trouble?” Paul asked when he walked outside the 'Betr Warehouse' to meet him.
Masvidal responded, “Nah, it’s my city.”
“It’s your city, so you own this right here? ” Paul retorted, pointing to the floor. “You’ve been saying a lot on Ariel Helwani’s (show). You called me a punk b****.”
Masvidal responded, “I did," before the video ended abruptly.
The authenticity of the encounter remains uncertain, but it is worth noting that Paul initially issued a challenge to his rival in 2021 following his victory over Tyron Woodley. However, both fighters' negotiating power has diminished over time due to retirement and defeat.
At one point, Gamebred had contemplated a potential bout with Paul, but the latter's defeat against Tommy Fury in February put a halt to those considerations.
