KSI impresses with toned physique, but Joe Fournier dismisses him as 'too small' at weigh-in

KSI displayed an impressive physique as he successfully made weight for his upcoming fight against Joe Fournier.

The long-anticipated showdown between the two rivals is scheduled to take place at Wembley Arena this Saturday night, following a prolonged period of heated verbal exchanges between them.

KSI boasts an impressive unofficial boxing record of 5-0-1 (with 4 knockouts), his only non-win being a 2018 draw in a white collar bout against Logan Paul. On the other hand, Joe Fournier holds an unofficial record of 9-1 (all by way of knockout), and has won all 9 of his official professional contests.

However, Fournier's level of opposition thus far has been less than impressive, except for his exhibition bout against David Haye in 2021, which he lost by decision.

At the weigh-in, Haye was present on stage, and things turned heated between KSI and Fournier, with the latter being met with boos from the crowd.

Fournier was heard telling KSI: "You're too small, you're not ready, you're basic.

"You can't even grow a beard, you're gonna get knocked out."

His opponent was responding: "You're gonna get knocked out by KSI, that's all people will remember you for."

Joe Fournier's boxing career has been largely built on facing lower-tier fighters in the Dominican Republic, resulting in easy knockout victories. However, at the age of 40, he's now set to face KSI, who views him as a stepping stone to a potential fight against Tommy Fury later this year.

KSI made his comeback to the influencer boxing scene last year with the initial goal of knocking out Jake Paul. He defeated Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda on the same night in August, before going on to KO FaZe Temperrr in January. The British YouTube sensation is confident that Fournier will be his final challenge before moving on to fight Fury, who earlier this year secured a split decision win against Paul.

The fight between KSI and Fournier has been agreed upon at a 176lbs catchweight limit. Fournier stepped on the scales first and weighed in at 179.4lbs, while KSI followed and weighed in at 177.6lbs.

Once again, KSI's remarkable physique has been a hot topic of discussion, and he's expected to showcase the results of his hard work in the ring come Saturday night.
