Light-Heavyweight Fighter Knocks Out Opponent with Mike Tyson-Style Uppercut

Khalil Coe delivered a stunning uppercut, reminiscent of Mike Tyson's signature move, to knock out James Quiter during their match on Saturday night in Texas.

The two boxers met on the undercard of the super bantamweight world title unification bout between Murodjon Akhmadaliev and Marlon Tapales.

Coe could not have landed a cleaner punch to KO Quiter

And there was no chance he was getting up from a shot like that

Coe dominated the first round, putting James Quiter down early in their fight, but it was in the third round when Coe landed an uppercut that was reminiscent of a prime Mike Tyson.

The perfectly timed shot landed right on Quiter's chin, sending him crashing to the canvas where he lay on his back. Although Quiter tried to get back up, the referee quickly waved off the fight.

Coe spoke about his stunning knockout in an interview with iD Boxing.

The punch was reminiscent of Tyson’s signature shot that would regularly leave his opponents unconscious. See the photo below for reference:
