According to a video posted online, Tekashi 6ix9ine, the rapper known for his rainbow-colored hair, was viciously attacked by a group of men in the bathroom of a Florida gym on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old artist and former convict was immediately transported to the hospital following the incident, which reportedly occurred at an LA Fitness location in southern Florida. (Credits to Daily Loud for the video)

In the video, which was shared on Twitter, two men can be seen towering over 6ix9ine as he lies on the bathroom floor, attempting to shield his head from the blows. As one of the assailants kicks him in the stomach, the other punches him in the head while both scream at him to "shut the f–k up."
His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ that the “Gooba” rapper had been using the facility’s sauna when he was jumped.
In addition, Lance Lazzaro stated that Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was without security when he was attacked. After the incident, the staff at LA Fitness alerted the authorities and emergency services, who rushed the convicted criminal to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his jaw, ribs, and back injuries, as well as cuts and bruises.
Lazzaro also informed the outlet that he intends to contact the Federal authorities to ensure his client's safety, as Tekashi was granted early release from prison in 2020 after cooperating with the authorities and revealing information about his gang members, who are now behind bars.
This is only the latest trouble for the 26-year-old rapper, who was thrown out of a Miami restaurant in January for giving patrons free alcohol.
Less than a week prior to the attack, Tekashi 6ix9ine had already made headlines when he was reportedly thrown out of a Miami baseball stadium for causing a disturbance and disrupting other fans. According to an exclusive from PageSix, the incident occurred on Friday and was attributed to the rapper's drunken behavior.
This recent incident adds to 6ix9ine's already notorious history. In 2019, he was sentenced to two years in prison for his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. Facing charges of racketeering and other offenses that carried a possible sentence of several decades, he opted for a plea deal that reduced his prison time in exchange for cooperating with the authorities and helping to bring down his former Bloods associates.
The assistant US attorney said at the time that 6ix9ine “will forever have to look over his shoulder.”
It’s unclear if Tuesday’s attack had anything to do with the rapper’s cooperation with the feds, but his lawyer told TMZ that he plans to call the feds to ensure he gets proper protection.
