Sensei Reinaldo “Ray” Batlle began his Martial Arts trainings boxing in 1968 Under coach Bobby Losada in Brooklyn N.Y. In 1972 his family moved to Weehawken N.J where he began his budo training at the famous Goju Karate Academy in Union City under the tutelage of Master Claudio Gonzalez.
He recalls to 4 hour training sessions 3 times a week = Blood, Sweat and tears no gear take down knockout. When his family moved to Miami, he started training with Master Park in Taekwondo and Trained boxing at Dinner Key auditorium in Coconut Grove. He met some students of Harold Diamond and visited his dojo. Ray was so impressed by Sensei Diamond and became his student and still is to this day.
He also continued his training with his other mentors, Masters Mel Steiner, Fidel Montalban, Angel Lemus. In 1982 he opened his first dojo. 1984 became a direct student of Grand Master Peter Urban and in 2009 Grand Master Ronnie Colwell. Master Batlle is the President and founder of Peaceful Warrior Black Belt Club. In 1988 Sensei Ray started a successful Floral importing business that sold 2 million dollars a year and had many employees.
