WWE fans will soon be able to watch "RAW" on Netflix on Monday nights.
A huge deal was just announced between the wrestling organization and the streaming giant, set to take effect in 2025. This 10-year agreement is valued at $5 billion, and both sides express their excitement.
TKO President and COO Mark Shapiro shared, "This deal is transformative, it marries the can’t-miss WWE product with Netflix’s extraordinary global reach and locks in significant and predictable economics for many years."
Added Netflix honcho Bela Bajaria, "By combining our reach, recommendations, and fandom with WWE, we’ll be able to deliver more joy and value for their audiences and our members."
"RAW," currently shown on the USA Network, has been on cable TV since it began in 1993. WWE states it has been highly successful on this platform, attracting over 17 million unique viewers in a year.
Both sides are confident that shifting to streaming will expand the audience further. WWE president Nick Khan believes Netflix is the perfect long-term home for "Raw's" live, loyal, and continually growing fan base.
The move is set to take place officially in January '25.
